String-Tie Envelopes

Been thinking of a way to package my Heart-felt phone sleeves and I came across the string envelopes from minieco.co.uk.  So I made my own version of them.

Materials you'll need:

Download the template.  Scale according to your need and cut out.
In this case, I will be using this to package my Heart-felt phone sleeves.

Trace the template onto your paper. I prefer to cut it out immediately. You can secure the template and the colored paper with a paper clip to avoid it from moving. Do not throw away the excess paper bits!

Fold the sides accordingly (dotted lines on the template).

This is where the paper bits come in handy.
Using a coin, trace 2 circles onto the small papers and cut them out.

Cut out a little slit in the middle of the circles and insert the paper fastener as shown.

Position the circular bits as shown. Make sure they are aligned when the flaps are folded! Make a little slit and insert the paper fastener and lock it in place.

Fold and glue the flaps together to create the envelope.

Tie a piece of string/yarn on the top circular bit. This completes your string-tie envelope!
